Adjust oven rack to the lower third position. Preheat the oven to 450° and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Start preparing the cauliflower by removing the leaves and trimming the stem. Slice it in half and cut each half into 1.5 inch slices.
Add the sliced cauliflower to the baking sheet. In a bowl mix the salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Drizzle both sides of the steak with olive oil and add the seasonings. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 5 minutes. Remove the foil and roast for 10 minutes.
