CHAI TEA HEALTH BENEFITS
Chai tea latte is not only delicious and warming but it also has many health benefits: – Good for digestion – Heart health – Gut health – Antioxidant-rich – Anti-inflammatory
Chai tea bags: I used TAZO organic Chai tea bags Milk: Whole milk or plant based can be used. Sweetener (optional): Maple syrup or honey works best.
Add chai tea bag to a cup. Fill cup 3/4 full with hot water. Let steep for 5 minutes, then remove the tea bag.
In a pot over medium heat, bring milk to a simmer. Turn off heat and reserve ½ cup of milk.
Pour warm milk into the cup. Sweeten with maple syrup or sweetener of choice then stir the chai latte.
Froth the reserved milk with a milk frother. Top off each cup with milk foam and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
