CHICKEN PARMESAN

WHY YOU'LL LOVE THIS RECIPE

This classic chicken parmesan recipe is ready to serve in less than 30 minutes and it’s easy to prep. Cheesy and rich, serve it over pasta for a filling and hearty dinner tonight.

KEY INGREDIENTS

chicken breasts | flour garlic powder | egg Parmesan | olive oil   Panko breadcrumbs marinara sauce | mozzarella chopped basil or parsley Cooked linguine pasta

Season the chicken. In three shallow bowls add the flour, eggs and panko and parmesan. Dredge the chicken in the flour, then the egg and finally press it into the panko mixture.

 INSTRUCTIONS

In a skillet, cook the chicken for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown (it’ll be raw inside still). Then add marinara sauce to the casserole dish.

Layer chicken then more marinara sauce followed by  a sprinkling of basil, Mozzarella cheese & remaining Parmesan.

Bake in the oven at 425°F for 10 to 15 minutes, or until the mozzarella begins to brown. Serve with pasta and the remaining sauce.
