Season the chicken with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Heat oil in a skillet and cook the chicken five minutes per side. Transfer to a plate. Add the onion to the skillet and sauté. Add the minced garlic and cook. Transfer over to the plate. Season and cook the mushrooms with salt and pepper. When the mushrooms are tender add it to the plate.
Add the penne and water to the skillet and cook it according to the package. When it's cooked add in whipping cream and white wine. Cook until the sauce thickens. Add the chicken, onions, mushrooms, and spinach back to the skillet and stir. Serve warm with some parmesan cheese.
