KEY INGREDIENTS

chickpeas | baking soda | tahini  cold water | extra virgin olive oil ground cumin | fine sea salt garlic | lemon juice  optional toppings: olive oil, chopped fresh parsley, paprika, toasted pine nuts

Boil chickpeas for 20 minutes with enough water to cover them & baking soda. Rinse and drain.

 INSTRUCTIONS

Add tahini, cold water, olive oil, cumin, salt, garlic, and lemon juice to a food processor. Puree until smooth.

Add in the chickpeas. Puree for 3-4 minutes until the hummus is smooth. Taste and season with salt, cumin, and/or lemon juice if needed.

Serve immediately, garnished with your desired toppings.
