All you will need is a head of cabbage, and a chef's knife to cut cabbage and prep recipes with ease.
Remove any damaged or browned outer leaves and rinse cabbage under cold water. Then place it on a cutting board with the stem side down. Cut in half lengthwise, then cut in half once more so you have four quarters.
