These cute caprese skewers make for a fun appetizer or finger food. Easy to make with a few simple ingredients, they are a fresh and tasty bite that your friends and family will love!
In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, Italian seasoning and salt and pepper to taste. Add the mozzarella balls to the bowl and toss them to coat.
Thread the tomatoes, basil and mozzarella balls onto the skewers alternating between them. (You need 3 tomatoes, 3 basil leaves and 2 mozzarella balls per skewer.)
Place the balsamic glaze in a small plastic bag with one corner snipped off. Drizzle the balsamic over the skewers, and serve immediately.
NOTES
If you are making the skewers ahead of time, keep them covered in the fridge so that the mozzarella doesn't dry out.
Use the freshest ingredients you can and make sure that the tomatoes are ripe.
