1
cup
water
1
lb
green beans
,
washed and ends trimmed
2-3
cloves
garlic
,
minced
salt and pepper
,
to taste
2 - 3
tablespoons
olive oil
INSTRUCTIONS
Pour 1 cup water in the inner pot of the Instant Pot. Place trivet in the pot and add green beans on top.
Close the lid, turn the valve to sealing and pressure cook for 2 minutes. After the cook time is over, carefully release the pressure.
Open the lid, remove the green beans using tongs and place them in a bowl.
Add minced garlic to the green beans, and season with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Drizzle with some olive oil and toss green beans to coat.
NOTES
Trim the ends of the beans before adding them to the Instant Pot. The ends can be a bit twig-like.
Use your trivet when cooking the beans so that they don't burn.
Quick release the pressure when you are done cooking so that they don't overcook.
