Avocado Toast
Quick and easy gluten-free avocado toast made with creamy avocado, lemon juice, and everything bagel seasoning. A healthy breakfast ready in 5 minutes.

Ingredients

avocados
peeled, seeded and sliced
½
teaspoon
lemon juice
optional
Salt and black pepper
to taste
Everything bagel seasoning
Gluten-free bread
toasted
Instructions
Mash avocados and lemon juice in a small bowl with the back of a fork and spread the avocado mixture on toasted bread.
Season it with salt and black pepper to taste, and sprinkle some everything bagel seasoning.
Top with desired toppings.
Notes
Topping suggestions
Sliced cherry tomatoes and crumbled feta cheese
Sliced hard-boiled egg, poached egg or fried egg
Smoked salmon, chopped fresh dill and honey mustard
Soft scrambled egg and crumbled bacon
Pico de Gallo
Goat cheese and chives
Cucumber slices, red onion slices, and dill
Radishes, cheese, and parsley
Tips & Notes
Use ripe avocados
that give a little when you squeeze them gently.
Mash the avocados by hand
. Don't be tempted to use a food processor as this will make them too mushy.
Add a little bit a lemon juice.
This will help slow down the browning process of the avocado.
Add seasoning.
Taste the mashed avocado before using and adjust the seasoning to taste.
Add in Garlic.
Rub raw peeled garlic clove over top of each slice of toast before spreading the avocado mixture
