Ingredients
2
skinless chicken breasts
cut in half horizontally
Salt and pepper

Tablespoons
honey
3
Tablespoons
mustard
(wholegrain, Dijon, yellow or your favorite mustard)

butter
melted
2
large garlic cloves
minced
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400 F and grease the bottom of a baking dish with butter.
Add mustard, honey, melted butter, and minced garlic to a small bowl and stir well.
Season your chicken cutlets with salt and pepper, and place them in the prepared baking dish and brush them with the honey mustard sauce.
Bake in a preheated oven for about 15 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 165 F.
Serve warm with your favorite side and a side salad.

You can also marinate the chicken in the honey mustard sauce for 30 minutes to an hour in the refrigerator for an even more intense flavor.
Use an instant-read thermometer to check when your chicken is fully cooked through. It should register at 165F.
Let the honey mustard chicken rest for 5 to 10 minutes under tented foil before serving. This allows the juices to redistribute.
You can also brush extra sauce on the baked chicken if you want to add more of that delicious glaze on top.
