BLT sandwich
This classic BLT sandwich is a great go to recipe for a quick lunch that the whole family will love. Crisp lettuce, bacon and juicy tomatoes are sandwiched between toasted slices of bread for one simple but delicious bite.

Ingredients

slices
bread
toasted

tomatoes
thick sliced in rounds

cooked thick cut bacon
Lettuce
(iceberg, bibb, or Romaine)

mayo
Instructions
Wash lettuce, dry and cut into shreds.
Spread each slice of bread with 1 tablespoon mayonnaise.
Top with bacon, tomatoes and lettuce. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Cut in half and serve.
Notes
I definitely recommend toasting your bread. It adds a great crunch and I also find it easier to eat this way.
Dry your lettuce well before adding to the sandwich to avoid soggy bread.
Use pre-cooked bacon to make this BLT sandwich super quick to assemble.
