This Maple Walnut Crusted Salmon is an easy & delicious meal full of flavor. The maple lemon glaze is amazing! You can keep it in mind for other dishes… it would be just as awesome with chicken, pork or even salad.

This is the perfect meal to serve when your taste buds are craving something light & filling. It’s not only a delicious meal but it’s also loaded with omega-3s and nutrients.

I recently received my first delivery of flash-frozen wild-caught fish from Sizzlefish. For this recipe, I used Sockeye salmon. Such a high-quality fish and it tastes amazing!

This maple walnut crusted salmon is a perfect meal for a busy weekday/-night. It takes only 5 minutes to make this epic crunchy walnut crust with the help of a food processor and another 5 minutes to make the maple lemon glaze. Easy peasy. And then bake for 15 minutes.

The maple lemon glaze is sweet and slightly tangy, it’s the perfect compliment to the salmon.  It’s so good, it should be a recipe all by itself. Definitely a keeper. When I made it, I used only one half of it for the fish before I baked it and the other half for later. Immediately before you serve, you can drizzle this maple lemon glaze on top of the salmon. It’s absolutely heavenly!

The fish for today’s recipe was sent to me by Sizzlefish. A company that prides itself with pure natural seafood. You order online and your order arrives few days later at your doorstep. I was impressed how nicely it was packaged, the fish arrived hard-frozen in a cooler with dry ice. I was very excited to try all the goodies that come in their Paleo Prime Plus sampler. The seafood selection in the package was awesome! Wonderful variety of wild caught fish and shellfish. It’s also loaded with protein and long-chain omega-3s (EPA and DHA), along with essential nutrients like iodine and selenium. The fish is also packaged in individual portions which makes it very easy and convenient to use.
