It has been rainy here lately, and today was a pretty cold March day.  This Beef and Cabbage Skillet meal is perfect for a cold weather like this. Cabbage, beef, carrots, onions, garlic simmered on the stove create this delicious one pan meal. This is my variation of the classic Irish dish – corned beef and cabbage.

Beef and Cabbage – One Skillet Meal

This one pot Beef and Cabbage Skillet meal is so delicious and very easy to prepare. It’s probably one of the easiest recipes I have ever made. Not counting making hard boiled eggs – what could be easier than that?  🙂

You could also use ground beef instead of beef stew, it will taste great as well. It might be even quicker to cook.

Cabbage and Beef Skillet – Quick Dinner

What I love most about this dish is that it takes only about 30 minutes to cook, and is a great weeknight dinner recipe for when you are short on time.

I love creating new no-fuss one-pot recipes all the time, and this one is definitely going to be added to our favorites list. Simple ingredients, and quick & easy dinner.

This is comfort food with a capital “C!” We love fried cabbage with ham or bacon, but I need to try this recipe with the beef.

I made this tonight. Had 1/2 a head of cabbage left from when I made my home made coleslaw and figured I could use it with boneless bottom round beef steak that I cut very thin. I added turmeric to the spices because of the anti-inflammatory properties for my arthritis. This meal was delicious! Thank you for posting it. And there’s a little left for tomorrow’s lunch for hubby! Thank you Neli! (I started at 5pm and we were eating by 5:30)
