    Easy Breakfast Recipe

Super easy smoothie bowl recipe that requires only 5 simple ingredients – cranberries, bananas, yogurt, honey, and some water. Just blend and serve. Breakfast can’t be any easier than that. It’s a great way to use any leftover cranberries from your holiday baking or cooking.

Tips for The Best Cranberry Smoothie Bowl

    • I recommend using frozen bananas with this recipe and personally, I like to use 2. The frozen bananas keep the smoothie colder longer and also seem to hold the toppings up a bit better.
    • Add water last, only if needed. Depending on what kind of yogurt you use…sometimes I don’t even need it.
    • Add more or less honey to adjust sweetness.

    Make-Ahead Smoothie Bowl

Smoothie bowls are delicious, nutritious and also a great make-ahead breakfast. If you are looking for quick and easy breakfast ideas, bookmark this cranberry smoothie bowl recipe. You can make the smoothie the night before and store it in the fridge until the morning. Eat it in a bowl, or pour it in a cup to take with you on the go.

You can also prep the ingredients and freeze them in a ziplock bag. Just dump them in the blender in the morning, and in a couple of minutes, you have a delicious and healthy breakfast.

    Simple Smoothie Bowl Recipe

I love that this smoothie bowl recipe is simple and easy. It requires only a handful of ingredients (5 ingredients, to be exact) and comes together really quickly. You need less than 5 minutes to make this simple smoothie bowl. To make it even easier, freeze several batches of the ingredients in ziplock bags and just dump them in the blender in the morning or whenever you want to have a smoothie bowl. Drinking smoothies is the easiest way to fuel your body with some fresh and wholesome food.

    Are Smoothie Bowls Healthy?

Cranberries are a powerhouse ingredient for our health. Bananas are rich in potassium and fiber and can help with digestive issues. And honey is packed with antioxidants and it’s good for your well-being. It’s also packed with protein thanks to Greek yogurt so it’s both filling and delicious.

And if you decide to top your smoothie bowl with coconut flakes, chia seeds, almonds, and bananas, you are benefiting from even more superfoods.

I love cranberries but struggle to get hold of them outside of the winter. If I can source them now I will definitely give this a try and follow your ziplock method and just freeze down a portion of ingredients and dump in my vitamix.

Well, here’s another recipe I’m adding to my collection (so I can use those hoarded cranberries in the freezer LOL). So delicious and so easy…thanks for sharing!
