INSTANT POT  POT ROAST

It's so quick and easy to make the most delicious pot roast in the pressure cooker. This Instant Pot Pot Roast is wonderfully flavored and so easy to make.

KEY INGREDIENTS

salt & pepper | thyme | paprika rosemary | garlic | onion powder

roast | beef stock | tomato paste  Worcestershire sauce | red wine  onion | garlic | Yukon gold potatoes

Mix the spice rub for the roast. Rub the roast with the spice mix all over. Brown the roast in the instant pot using the sauté setting then set aside.

 INSTRUCTIONS

Deglaze the pot using beef stock then add the tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, red wine, and return the roast back to the pot. Close the lid, seal and cook on  High Pressure for 1 hour.

Once done, quickly release and open the lid. Add the chunks of potatoes, carrots, onions and minced garlic. Close the lid and cook for another 5 minutes.

Remove the roast and the veg with a slotted spoon and transfer them to a large platter. Add cornstarch to the pot to create a sauce. Pour sauce over the roast to serve.
