    Ingredients

    • Ginger root: With a warming and spicy flavor, ginger is loaded with antioxidants and is an anti-inflammatory.
    • Lemon: Use fresh lemon juice for the best flavor and the highest amounts of vitamin C, folate, and potassium.
    • Honey: If you can, use raw and natural honey rather than an artificial one. You can also skip the sweetener if you want a zero-calorie drink.

    Can you drink it cold?

This homemade ginger lemon tea can be enjoyed warm or cold. In the winter it’s a wonderful warming beverage, and in the summer, you can serve it over ice for a cooling drink. Either way, it’s super delicious!

    Is it vegan?

Because this lemon ginger tea is sweetened with honey, it is not vegan. However, you can simply swap the honey for maple syrup to make this plant-based. You can also use a non-natural sweetener like granulated sugar or stevia if that’s what you have.
