  • Ginger root: With a warming and spicy flavor, ginger is loaded with antioxidants and is an anti-inflammatory.

Because this lemon ginger tea is sweetened with honey, it is not vegan. However, you can simply swap the honey for maple syrup to make this plant-based. You can also use a non-natural sweetener like granulated sugar or stevia if that’s what you have.

Can you drink it cold?

This homemade ginger lemon tea can be enjoyed warm or cold. In the winter it’s a wonderful warming beverage, and in the summer, you can serve it over ice for a cooling drink. Either way, it’s super delicious!
