Paleo Thai Sweet and Spicy Jalepeno Chicken Stir Fry – you can serve it over rice, quinoa, cauliflower rice, or even gluten-free pasta. Or just plate it as it is. It tastes A-M-A-Z-I-N-G and I am sure you will be making this dish over and over again because it is Easy, Delicious and Healthy. Even my husband said that this dish is so delicious. I promise you, this will be the BEST Thai Jalepeno Chicken Stir Fry you’ve ever had.

This Thai Sweet and Spicy Jalepeno Chicken Stir Fry is also Paleo and gluten free. Most stir fry recipes usually call for soy sauce which is not Paleo. Also, soy sauce should be avoided if you have any hormonal imbalances or PCOS. Instead of soy sauce, I use fish sauce which is a classic and authentic Thai ingredient.

I am glad I added jalepeno peppers, even though usually I don’t add any to stir frys. They are really the star of the sauce and they make all the difference in this dish. So if you are thinking of skipping the jalepeno peppers, don’t do it. It will still turn out great, but it won’t be the same. Since the peppers cook for several minutes in the skillet, the dish is not very hot or spicy. It has a nice mild kick that combines wonderfully with the sweetness of the orange marmalade, honey, coconut sugar and the garlic.

Add sliced chicken strips to skillet and saute for about 5-7 minutes or until cooked through while turning chicken to brown on both sides.

After chicken is cooked, add sliced strips red bell pepper and onion. Stir well, cover with a lid and saute for about 3 minutes, stirring occasionally, making sure nothing sticks to the pan. Add a little bit of olive oil if necessary.

Love me some jalapenos — and Thai food seasonings. Definitely making this. I have a request, though. I use myfitnesspal.com to log my food intake, and they have a page where you can save recipes so the calories and macros involved in the ingredients get recorded automatically. https://www.myfitnesspal.com/recipe_parser The user has to copy the url of the recipe’s page, to myfitnesspal. I’ve tried to do that with this recipe, but neither your blog page nor the printer-friendly page url will work with myfitnesspal. I get back a “no recipe found” message. If you could figure out a way to make this blog work with the myfitnesspal app, that would make it a LOT more useful to me and others who use myfitnesspal.

Thanks for letting me know, Amy! That is very strange because I have used myfitnesspal to calculate nutritional info with links from this blog and it used to work. I will check with my website designer and let you know when we get this fixed. Thanks again for letting me know.

  8. Adam says:

This looks great, I love the interesting flavors you bring here. I really want to try that coconut sugar and I guess I’m not the only one who uses fruit jam to replace sugar.

    1. Delicious Meets Healthy says:

Hi Adam! Yes, i love using fruit jam instead of sugar, much better and more flavorful. I try to avoid sugar all together, but if I need some, i use coconut sugar since it’s not highly processed like white sugar.
