- Eggs: To bind the ingredients together.
- Coconut oil and almond butter: These natural ingredients replace the traditional oil in the recipe.
- Seasonings: Vanilla extract, cinnamon and salt.
- Flour: This recipe uses coconut flour in place of all-purpose to make it gluten and grain free.

TIPS FROM NELI’S KITCHEN
Recipe Notes and Tips
- For best results, your ingredients should be at room temperature before using.
- Line your baking dish with parchment, and allow it to overhang so that the slab of baked brownies is easy to remove.
- Cool the brownies on a wire rack. The circulating air will stop the brownies from becoming soggy.
How long do they keep?
Once you have made your brownies, let them cool fully before transferring to an airtight container. They will keep well at room temperature for 3 to 4 days. You can store them in the fridge as well, but they will tend to harden a little.
Can you freeze them?
You can freeze brownies, but you must make sure to wrap them well in plastic and foil, before placing them into a freezer bag or air-tight container to protect them from freezer burn. Thaw them at room temperature for a couple of hours to enjoy.
What can you add to these brownies?
I like to add walnuts (or any nuts of choice) and chocolate to my brownies. They create a nice crunchy texture. You can also add:
- Melted peanut butter swirls on top
- Raspberry sauce swirls
- A layer of a nut butter
- Top with a scoop of ice cream

I love the way it looks, I wouldn’t mind having it out on my counter.
I love the simplicity and convenience of it!
I like the look of it, it would look a lot prettier on my counter than my current vacuum sealer. (Which has a habit of not completely sealing bags anymore…) The phone app is also a pretty neat feature!
The Homebase is pretty cool. I really like the overall design as well.
I like the reusable containers. I hate wasting plastic bags on vacuum sealing and I never dreamed I would be able to vacuum seal fresh fruit, so that’s cool. Also, I can’t wait to try this recipe it looks delicious. Have you tried subbing the almond butter for cashew butter? Wife can’t have almonds.
I think this is amazing, no more wasting food. LOVE IT!
This looks like a very good system. It would surely save my family money!
I like that it is not too big for the home, and it looks stylish enough to leave out on the counter. I think that it is a great way to eliminate food waste!
I think the app is the coolest part!
I love that is would help save us so much by being able to stock more at sale prices! Their phone app would be so wonderful for when shopping at the store to know what you have on hand at home!
